ImageSpan Inc. and arvato finance services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of arvato AG, a Bertelsmann company, today announced their platform collaboration enabling LicenseStream to deliver a global clearinghouse that unifies, drives and accelerates the trade of digital content, including video, images, audio and text. The new global content clearinghouse combines ImageSpan’s automated content licensing, publishing and tracking platform, called LicenseStream, with arvato finance’s PaymentLounge, premium merchant services consisting of global billing, accounting and payment components.
Microsoft partners with arvato to deliver global business process outsourcing efficiencies
Microsoft has signed a
global business process outsourcing partnership with arvato AG, one of the
world’s largest internationally networked media and communication services
providers. The five-year agreement
- which sees Microsoft consolidating operational activities for several key
business lines previously handled by multiple suppliers with one vendor -
commences in January 2010. arvato will support this
business globally from their operations based in Dublin,
Singapore, Reno
(Nevada) Fargo
(North Dakota), Manila
and Buenos Aires.
arvato UK & Ireland signed sponsorship agreements for three major BPO conferences
To create a higher brand awareness in the UK and develop new client relations the arvato UK & Ireland group has chosen to sponsor
a series of BPO conferences within the first half of 2010. The three sponsored
conferences – the Shared Services & Outsourcing Summit, the European Shared
Services & Outsourcing Week and the Order-to-Cash Summit – rank among the most important Shared
Services events in the European marketplace and they have achieved a good
reputation in professional circles over the years.
For the sixth
consecutive year arvato finance received an unqualified auditor’s opinion
according to the Statement of Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS70). SAS70
is an internationally-recognised standard developed by the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Obtaining
PCI certification for more than four years in a row and successfully passing
annual SAS70 audits for the sixth consecutive time (covered in the third
article of this newsletter) are some of the most apparent results of arvato
finance’s long-time investments in technical security and its overall
commitment to security topics in general.
