The Direct
Response Forum (DRF) is 20 years old this year.The DRF has been responsible for educating merchants on payment
processing profitability and this year the sessions continued on this theme by
offering a variety of forums designed to give “card-not-present” merchants
real-time strategies for stream-lining payment processes and cutting costs.

contributed to the agenda by offering a networking evening which was themed
“Follow the Irish Tradition”.
Once
again, arvato finance attended the CNP Payment Forum (formerly “DRF Europe”) in
Barcelona, Spain from 11th to 13th
May. Now in its 6th year the CNP Payment forum continues to grow in
importance amongst the merchant and payment community.

For the fourth year in a row, arvato finance
received the annual PCI DSS Level 1 certification. The company’s
commitment to data security was again rewarded.

respected Shared Services event, the Shared Services & Outsourcing Week
(SSOW). The conference took place from May 11-14, 2009 in Budapest, Hungary.
Approximately 600 delegates attended in order to meet the most important Shared
Services and Outsourcing professionals in the UK & European marketplace.

of February 2009, arvato finance finalized the migration of its remaining
applications from their mainframe infrastructure to client/server. With this
significant and profound investment in new technologies arvato finance now
supports Unicode character sets and easy integration with upcoming Web 2.0
